Springtime at the ZOO with my little monkeys....

Home early from vacation, no computer or way to work, means extra time off with my kiddos! So what do we do... we go to the ZOO!!!
We love the zoo!!!
Sailor Growling like a lion....

Sailor waved and said hi and bye to every animal and blew the majority of them kisses! She giggled when the monkey pooped and Keller loudly announced that the monkey was disgusting and should go potty in the bathroom! he was also very concerned that you could see the monkeys bum and pee pee... " he probably needs undies mom!"

I love how much Sailor loves her big brother and tried to copy everything! He wanted to "checkout the stuff" and she just had to join him! He grabbed her hand and off they went- my mamma heart swelled!

So this little spotted sea lion kept playing peek- a -boo with Keller and then suddenly swam at full speed to the glass right where Keller was standing and scared the life out of Keller! He ran so fast and had to warm up before getting closer to the glass again. The little sea lion stood upright in the water and continued to play peek a boo above and below the water! It was darling and actually pretty funny! Keller didn't know what to think but Sailor loved it and thought it wanted its tummy tickled!

Explore. Imagine. Dream

Sailor growling again.... Keller wanted to know how they took the skeleton out of the polar bear.... and he wanted to know if they brush its teeth... because that would be really silly!

Watching the Polar Bear swim and play!

and the grizzlies were swimming too!! and playing ball! we totally lucked out!

Just hanging with the gorillas!

Oh. my .gosh. Getting this picture was THE funniest thing ever! Sailor watched Keller climb on top of the gorilla and so she insisted that she get to too... and then kept saying cheese for a picture... I was struggling trying to get a picture and keep her from falling when a cute little elderly native man asked in broken English if he could help hold her up- If you know my kids... you know they are shy... I thought for sure that Sailor would freak out- BUT she smiled and patted his head multiple times- as if to say- thank you sir!- and then she turned back to the camera and continued to say "CHEESE CHEESE!!" i laughed and snapped a pic and then hurried to help her down.. she patted his head again, and we were off! It was almost comical! I had never seen her do that before and it was so funny! and lucky for me- the picture is darling! I love that there are still sweet and kind people in this world!

Riding the train... because you absolutely cannot go to the zoo without riding the train!!

So I gave in and we bought a bubble gun... $10 well spent if you ask me! But Keller could not figure out why all sorts of kids were flocking to him... it was hilarious!!! Bubbles= kids running toward you from every direction to pop them!!!

We got home .. had a quick outfit change.. because mommy forgot to take the kiddos to the bathroom before leaving the zoo... whoops!!! and had a little picnic in the backyard because it is finally spring weather!!! woot! woot! until next time!!!

A St George Easter Adventure...

Easter Sunday!
Our Easter Sunday was a little crazy this year- it started out with my little sister's beautiful missionary farewell. She is my youngest sister and I love her more than words. She will be serving in Lithuania and I know she will do amazing things! I have had a hard time thinking about her leaving but I know she is going where the Lord needs her- she will learn to love the language, the area, and the people. They will be so blessed to have her, and she will be blessed to have them.
18 months is so short but so long!!! I am so proud of her and I love her dearly!!!
After her farewell, we hurried home, changed our clothes- and headed to St George!

I didn't get too many pictures on Easter or of our trip - but we had so much fun as a family and even though it didn't go as planned- (the weather was awful- and we came home early) it was still so much fun and I cant wait for the next!!

Easter morning with my little love bugs!!!

Our last family pictures with Auntie V - see you in 18 months you beautiful lady!!!

I could not ask for a better example to my little sweethearts! these two littles love you Auntie V!!!

We made it to St George and the Easter Bunny came!!! Sailor and Kell were in heaven finding eggs and their baskets!

We celebrated daddy's birthday with early morning presents, shopping, eating burgers, rollerblading at the park, seeing Zootopia, and swimming until the pool closed! It was a BUSY day to say the least! We love that daddy!!! Such an amazing friend, husband, and father to our little sweethearts! Love you babe!

\
Like I said... I was horrible at taking pictures. But what is cuter than a sleeping kiddo?!? One the way home from our short little adventure! Until next time... please be sunny next time St Geezy.... please of please!!

Our little Spring Photo shoot....

There are days when I am still in shock that I am a mother... days that I think when. how. what... not in a bad way but more of  in awe! I have been SO incredibly blessed with two perfect little beings. They make me laugh, cry, and smile everyday! They are the two greatest things that could have ever happened to Kurt and I. We laugh constantly at how much life has changed... but it has changed to be so so good! Don't get me wrong- it was good before- but seriously these little kiddos ... the ones who make us crazy... make us so stinkin' happy!
How did we get so lucky!

Yesterday- I told Keller that I hadn't taken pictures for a long time... his response... "well why don't we just take some then- silly mommy!?!"
DUHH!! why don't we just take some... so take some we did! We couldn't stop laughing...They were not fancy- in fact we still had Thomas the train playing in the background... and I was in sweats.. because when your child agrees to take pictures, you stop getting yourself ready and you grab your camera! We threw a few outfits on Sailor... per her own request.. she is all girl I tell ya! but mostly we tried to get some pics in their Easter outfits...
Like I said, they aren't fancy.. but I almost love them more because of that.. .I was able to capture their unique little personalities so perfectly and let them do their thing!
Enjoy!!!
This little outfit was from when Sailor was a baby... but she grabbed it out of the closet and since it really had no wrong or right size.. .I figured- what the hay- lets do it! She was being a total ham and had Keller and I busting a gut from laughing so much! She is most definitely a little class clown in the making!

I love this picture.... even with her bed head! haha

and my favorite...... taa daa... apparently the tulle gets itchy!!!

Another outfit Sailor picked out.... LOVE!!! it is actually for a 3 year old- but I love the way it fits her now! I am glad we pulled it out- or I would have never known it fit so well! She looks so old in it! PS.... she LOVES to pose herself! and it is adorably cute and super hilarious to watch! ... she kept calling herself "so cute" and "pretty" the whole time! I couldn't help but to agree!

Watching Thomas for all of 4 seconds made for some cute pictures...

If you know Sailor... you know that her little tongue is sticking out CONSTANTLY! she is a ham and we love her for it!

Now for this handsome little devil! He kept telling me... "Mom I look like a handsome boy, don't I?" Yes, you absolutely do buddy!

That smug little grin! haha this little boy is the spitting image of his daddy.. in looks AND personality!!!

This little boy made me a mommy and the day I saw his cute little face - my heart melted! One day we are going to be in big trouble with this little dude... he has told us on multiple occasions that... "all the girls are probably going to want to kiss me cause I am so cool."

These two together = trouble! haha they are so fun and are my little dreams come true!

Those smiles!!!

Sailor teasing with kisses! which quickly turned into a slobbery licking fight... no words! Kids are funny. crazy. silly. weird. gross. and yet still perfect in every way!

LOVE. LOVE. LOVE

we tried to take some pictures outside.... it didn't go too well.... BUT we did have fun!

Keller was trying to teach Sailor how to blow big magic bubbles... she was trying to teach him that dipping chalk in the bubbles was even cooler....

Hey g-money.... loosing his pants!

POPSICLES!!
