a glimpse of Easter

I LOVE Easter-time! The Easter season is such a beautiful time of year full of so many fun little traditions, but more importantly it is a season focused around our Savior and the sacrifices he made for us. I know it is so easy to forget to celebrate the true meaning of Easter with all of the fun little distractions- but I know this is something we must always focus on- not only for ourselves- but to teach our little sweethearts- so that they may always know and remember the sacrifices that were made for them!

"Because Jesus walked such a long, lonely path utterly alone, we do not have to do so.
May we declare ourselves to be more fully disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, not in word only & not only in the flush of comfortable times but in deed & in courage & in faith, including when the path is lonely & when our cross is difficult to bear. This Easter week & always, may we stand by Jesus Christ “at all times and in all things, and in all places that we may be in, even until death,” for surely that is how He stood by us when it was unto death & when He had to stand entirely and utterly alone."-Holland

Make sure to watch THIS precious video. and remember the sacrifices that have been made for you and me! Happy Easter time!!!

"EASTER'Y TREATS!!!" -Keller

Kid tested.. mommy approved!!

COLORING EGGS!!! this little tradition has become surprisingly ALOT messier as Keller has gotten older... he is VERY independent.. Sailor is too... lets just says- a few eggs were cracked in this process... and hands were discolored for days!! But we still had so much fun!! And if yo uask Keller- We have "THE coolest hard 'boy'yed eggs in the whole world!!!"

Happy "EASTER'Y TIME"- keller
